Carter Wade Brown

March 23, 2010 brought the little miracle that our family had been praying for a long time. Carter was born at 9:00 pm--weighing 9 lbs even. He was 21 inches long and absolutely perfect!

Here we are in the recovery room waiting for Carter to come back from the nursery. Ellie looks calm but couldn't wait!!-- actually none of us could. We were all very excited to meet him & give him loves. At this point he had not been named--we were waiting to see him.

Ellie proclaimed this day as "the best day ever"-- none of us disagreed!
